Following his victory, Neeraj Chopra commented on his win, stating, as reported by the Times of India, “Instances like this occurred with some of the other athletes too, which is unfortunate. Even Jena’s second throw was inaccurately declared a foul. However, I decided not to contest it. It was important to respect the other athletes as well, considering the delay was affecting their bodies.”
