Argentina women smash T20I record with 427 against Chile

Lucia Taylor and Albertina Galan hit centuries as Argentina’s women’s team pulverised the T20 international record with 427 for one against Chile in Buenos Aires. Taylor and Galan established an astonishing 350-run partnership for the first wicket in just 16.5 overs, setting a new T20 international record. Taylor, whose previous best in T20 internationals was 29, astonished everyone by scoring 169 off 84 balls, featuring 27 boundaries, the highest individual score in women’s T20Is. Galan, equally relentless, contributed 145 runs off 84 balls, adorned with 23 fours. Maria Castineiras added to the onslaught with a quickfire 40 off 16 balls, featuring seven fours.
