Gill accomplished this remarkable feat in just 38 innings, outpacing South Africa’s Hashim Amla, who achieved the same milestone in 40 innings. Gill’s record-breaking moment arrived in the seventh over of India’s chase against New Zealand, where he confidently dispatched a delivery from Trent Boult to the boundary, needing only 14 runs to achieve the milestone. Despite this achievement, Gill’s innings was cut short at 26 runs off 31 deliveries.
